In a few days, the official presentation of the Lamborghini Urus, the fastest SUV in the world, will take place in Greece.
The Lamborghini Urus is the SUV of the Italian brand that has managed to give a tremendous boost to the sales of the brand. Proto Thema reported that the luxury leisure vehicle is not just an elevated 4×4 but a sporty SUV with no rival.
The Urus is already on sale in the Performante version, which reaches 666 hp, while a few 24 hours ago it came to Greece. The special edition of the Italian model has many aesthetic interventions as well as corresponding mechanics that make it even faster than the Urus we know.
Externally, it has a larger spoiler (for better downforce), and a new aerodynamic package, diffused from carbon fiber, the exhausts bear Akrapovic’s signature while it has been lowered. Inside, there are minimal changes with the exception of the Alcantara fabric that covers many parts of the cabin.
The… essence, however, is in the engine as the 4.0-liter V8 engine now produces 666 horsepower, i.e. 16 more than the “simple” version. The torque reaches 850Nm while the transmission is done by an 8-speed automatic transmission.
In pure numbers, 0-100 is achieved in 3.3 seconds, 0-200 in 11.5, while the top speed reaches 306 km/h.
An important element of the Lamborghini Urus Performante is the weight that has been reduced by 47 kg as well as the suspension that has undergone improvements to achieve such performance.
The one and only Urus Performante was brought to Greece by the importing company Trident Cars, which will soon hold a special event where it will make the official unveiling of the model.
