The Antetokounmpo family has established a new company, branded as "Ante Inc.", with its purpose serving to supervise their overall business activities.
Through an official announcement containing the statements of Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo, the new venture of the Antetokounmpo family became known.
Over the last few years, the Family has made investments in sports franchises, such as Nashville SC and the Milwaukee Brewers, in a mutual fund with an industry leader, Calamos, partnerships with Ready and Nike, as well as launching the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation. As the Family looks to the future, this is their moment to build Ante, Inc.
“I have had success on the court, and I continue to work harder every day to get better, but I understand it is important to build success off the court as well,” said Giannis. “Ante, Inc. is just the beginning. My Family is building a business that we can be proud of. I have had the privilege of learning from professionals who understand what it means to build success off the court, and it’s time me and my Family begin to build that.”
The Antetokounmpo Family has a clear vision on how they want to impact the world. As the Family begins to lay the foundation for this work, Ante, Inc. will oversee the Family’s brand holdings, organizations for social impact and their global portfolio of businesses. As the Family moves forward, all opportunities on behalf of the Family will be brought through Ante, Inc.
“We are extremely grateful for all of the opportunities that we have,” said Thanasis. “All of my brother’s continue to work hard both on and off the court, and I feel this is the right moment in our lives to launch Ante, Inc.”
Ante, Inc. will be led by Dylan Wondra, President & CEO, Kostas Tsigkourakos, Chief Financial Officer, and Giorgios Panou, Chief Marketing Officer.
In 2023, Ante, Inc. will have a physical presence in both the United States and Greece; but as the Family never stops learning and growing on the court, they also have the same ambitions to grow off the court.
