Following Nikos' lead, Konstantinos Argiros, who is currently on the Australian leg of his tour, also incorporated a Greek flag into his Sydney concert at Qudos Arena. As he sang his popular hit "Athina Mou," he wrapped the flag around himself, embracing the patriotic sentiment.

After a lull in performances over the past few years, this year has seen a resurgence of Greek singers performing across America, Europe, and Australia. It seems that the trend set by Nikos, involving flag-wearing during concerts, has struck a chord with the patriotic diaspora in the audience. The Greek flag has become a focal part of these performances, pleasing the crowds and fostering a sense of unity.
This Greek flag-wearing craze is expected to continue as more Greek singers ride the wave of this trend. Fans can look forward to upcoming concerts by Nikos Oikonomopoulos, who is currently performing in Australia at The Juniors Kingsford in Sydney tonight and tomorrow night, before heading to Melbourne for a show at Kinisi at Trak on June 16. Additionally, Konstantinos Argiros will be performing in Adelaide tonight, June 9, and in Melbourne tomorrow night.
From July onwards, the singers will be touring in Athens for the next two months but will return to Australia from October onwards. Among the lineup of popular Greek singers, keep an eye out for Giannis Ploutarhos, who will be touring Australia in October with his son Giorgos Kakosaios and daughter Katerina.
