Greek authorities say they have rescued 145 migrants found stranded on an islet on the Evros river that runs along the northeastern land border with Turkey

The migrants, consisting of 70 men, 45 women, and 30 children, were found on an islet located along the river that runs parallel to the northeastern border with Turkey.

Thankfully, all the individuals were determined to be in good health and have been identified as either Syrians or Kurds.
