Salt Bae is disappointed in Mykonos restaurant turnover - He's preparing a new project (VIDEO)

The Turkish-Kurdish chef "Salt Bae" hopes the restaurant's failure will be compensated by the new club he has opened.

In recent years, the Nusr-et restaurant in Mykonos has occupied public opinion for the turnover of millions it made. There was a time when the shop had triple seating; that is, the tables changed customers three times from 8 am to 2 am, serving daily over 600 covers.

But all that seems to be a thing of the past as things are completely different this year.

According to Mykonos Live TV, owner Nusret Gökçe appears very disappointed with the drop in traffic at his restaurant, which has reached 70% after covers have been reduced by a third compared to previous years.

The Turkish chef hopes the restaurant's shortfall will be compensated by expanding his already existing business by the new club he opened. This is the concept entitled "Eating, Dancing" which combines focus with fun on two different levels.

On the first floor is the restaurant area where food is served as was the case until last year, and upstairs on the terrace there is a DJ playing music and drinks are offered until the early hours for those who want to dance after dinner.

It remains to be seen if Nusret's ambitious venture will catch on or if he will have the fate of his recently shuttered New York restaurant.
