The GREECE HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL 2023 is a multidimensional spectacle that combines the mesmerizing sight of colourful balloons soaring in the sky with a diverse range of parallel events catering to all ages. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a unique fusion of experiences that will create indelible memories to cherish.
The festivities will kick off at 18:00 with an array of exciting outdoor activities provided by the Armonia ZEN team, designed for both children and adults young at heart. Adventure enthusiasts can engage in Survivor-style challenges, parachute and balloon games, giant Jenga, wooden skis, and various other entertaining games. Additionally, there will be balloon constructions and engaging Body and Face painting activities to delight our little friends.
The talented dancers of Baila Conmigo will grace the stage, captivating the audience with energetic Salsa and Bachata rhythms. Spectators will have the chance to learn some basic dance moves and join in the group's infectious "Shake it too" routine.
Prepare to be amazed as Elena Xydia, the "Flying Pianist," delivers a unique performance playing the piano while suspended from a balloon, creating a truly magical ambience. Greek pilot Dimitris Koliakos, renowned for his world-class achievements in Paramotor and paragliding, specializing in acrobatics, will present a breathtaking acrobatic choreography that will push the limits with 6 G forces. The event will also feature a thrilling hot air balloon jump and a captivating night flight amidst the illuminated balloons. Adding to the excitement, Antonis Pasvantis, the Fire Artist of the Year 2022 and world champion in Tallinn, Estonia, will showcase a dazzling Fire show featuring dynamic choreographies with multiple burning objects.
Prepare to be enchanted by the beloved singer Eleftheria Eleftheriou as she mesmerizes the audience with her soul-stirring songs. Accompanied by the impressive dancers surrounding her, Angelita will ignite the atmosphere, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all.
The festivities continue with a captivating fashion show, a mesmerizing Laser show, and a grand fireworks display. The evening culminates with the much-anticipated Night Glow show, where illuminated balloons create a breathtaking spectacle. Throughout the event, the spirited DJs of Greece's largest radio station, Athens Dj 95.2, will keep the energy high with their vibrant tunes.
