Summer has started, and many foreign stars are flocking to the Greek islands to relax and enjoy the sun, and among them is the famous actress Jane Seymour, who has been in Greece for a week along with her sisters.
The British-American star, known for her timeless beauty and versatile acting skills, has been excited about the Greek summer and shares daily snapshots from her escape on Instagram.
The 72-year-old actress, upon her arrival in the Ionian Sea, wrote on social media: "Hello Greece! Ready to take in the wonders of this breathtakingly beautiful place."
In another post in which she poses with her two sisters, Seymour wrote: "Forever grateful for the incredible bond I share with my sisters, as we navigate life's adventures together, blessed to have this priceless gift of sisterhood!"
In another photo with her sisters, the actress emphasised: "Savoring every second of this Greek getaway with my sisters. From dancing in the streets to exploring different islands, Greece has treated us to a sensory feast. Feeling immensely thankful for the bond we share and the memories we're creating."
She couldn't help but be photographed at sunset as well, accompanying her photo with the following words: "With every sunset a smile blooms painting the sky with pure joy. I wish everyone a fantastic week."
Jane Seymour OBE is an English actress born Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg on 15 February 1951.
After making her screen debut as an uncredited extra in the 1969 musical comedy Oh! What a Lovely War, Seymour transitioned to leading roles in film and television, including a leading role in the television series The Onedin Line (1972–1973) and the role of psychic Bond girl Solitaire in the James Bond film Live and Let Die (1973).
Seymour's other film roles include Somewhere in Time (1980), The Scarlet Pimpernel (1982), La Révolution française (1989), Wedding Crashers (2005), Love, Wedding, Marriage (2011), Little Italy (2018), The War with Grandpa (2020) and Friendsgiving (2020).
In addition to her acting career, Seymour is the founder of the Open Hearts Foundation as well as an author, having (co-)written several children's books and self-help books. Under the Jane Seymour Designs label, she has created jewellery, scarves, furniture, rugs, handbags, paintings and sculptures.
