A comprehensive mobilization effort was launched, involving ambulances and additional boats, which were dispatched to aid in the rescue and assistance of the passengers. Initial reports indicate that the majority of the 82 passengers were able to evacuate the boat without serious safety issues, as they chose to abandon the vessel by leaping into the sea, which was in close proximity to the shore. Ambulance rescuers quickly arrived in the area to provide immediate medical attention to those who safely disembarked from the boat.

Furthermore, precautionary measures were taken as by-pass vessels were ordered to stand by at the scene in case their assistance was required. At 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, four smaller boats remained in the vicinity at a safe distance, and an alert was issued to the Central Port Authority of Rhodes. Authorities issued orders to address potential marine pollution resulting from the incident.
