Injury has forced 2022 finalist Nick Kyrgios out of Wimbledon

Nick Kyrgios, Australia's No.2-ranked man, withdraws from Wimbledon due to wrist injury.

In a heartfelt announcement on his social media channels, world No.33 Nick Kyrgios expressed his sadness over withdrawing from Wimbledon this year. Despite giving his best efforts to recover after surgery, the tennis star faced challenges during his comeback. Experiencing pain in his wrist during the week of Mallorca, he underwent a scan which revealed a torn ligament.

Regrettably, Kyrgios had to make the difficult decision to sit out of Wimbledon as he didn't have enough time to recover and manage the injury fully. Nevertheless, he remained determined to return to the court and expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support from his fans.
