Giannis Antetokounmpo: A fan tattooed his face

Giannis Antetokounmpo tattoo

Giannis Antetokounmpo won the 2021 NBA championship with the Milwaukee Bucks and has fans all over the planet who follow his every move.

Now one super fan has even gotten a tattoo of Giannis. Specifically, one of them decided to tattoo the face of the basketball star on his leg.

The tattoo artist Serious. C. posted the video of his latest, impressive creation on his Instagram account, on the leg of a fan of the Bucks star.

Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokounmpo is expected to represent his home country in the FIBA World Cup tournament scheduled for August in the Philippines, where Greece will face off against formidable opponents such as the USA, Jordan and New Zealand.

However, emerging reports explain that Giannis may be forced to withdraw from the tournament entirely due to a troubling leg injury.

Given the significance of Giannis's contributions to the team, this development raises concerns about Greece's prospects in the World Cup.

Unsurprisingly, the Milwaukee Bucks are unlikely to permit their star to participate in the tournament if he is dealing with a significant injury.

As Giannis is a valuable asset to the franchise, it is crucial for Milwaukee to prioritize his well-being and safeguard their investment.

Yet, there is a glimmer of hope amidst this setback. The tournament is still approximately two months away, allowing ample time for Antetokounmpo to recover from the injury.

Given his unwavering commitment and determination, it is anticipated that the former back-to-back MVP will exert every effort to ensure his readiness for the Greek national team.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's injury history

It has to be noted that Giannis also missed a significant portion of the Bucks' first-round series against the Miami Heat due to a back injury.

Although he managed to play in the last two games of that series, he was not fully fit.

While he currently faces a different injury, it wouldn't be surprising if the team takes into account the previous back issue when deciding whether Giannis should participate in the FIBA World Cup.
