Anna Vissi's concert in Thessaloniki was suddenly postponed - "I'm sorry but it's not our fault at all"

Anna Vissi would give an anniversary concert for her 50 years on Monday night in the country's music scene at the Gis Theatre in Thessaloniki, with the tickets being sold out for several weeks. However, just hours before the show's start, the singer announced the concert postponement for technical reasons.

She uploaded a related post on social media and a short video on her official Instagram account, expressing her deep regret for the postponement.

"Today's concert by Anna Vissi at the Earth Theater is postponed for technical reasons concerning the safety of the performers. A new date will be announced within 3 days. The tickets purchased are valid as usual, we apologise for any inconvenience," says the announcement of the production company.

"The disappointment of me and Nikos (Karvelas), as I imagine yours, is huge. We didn't think this could ever happen. Such a beautiful day, we are in Thessaloniki, everything was ready but a huge technical problem that would not be solved even in several hours forces us to postpone the concert," said Vissi.

“You can't imagine how I feel. I see your messages. I'm sorry but it's not our fault at all, it's the system's fault. I am very sad. But we'll see you soon. We are now trying to find a new date that will make this concert possible," concluded the singer in her message.
