In response to the Kleon heatwave in Athens, the management of Akti Vouliagmenis Beach has made the decision to extend its operating hours for the public.

Starting from Thursday through Sunday, the beach will remain open past midnight. The Hellenic Public Properties Co. (HPPC), which oversees the management, announced this initiative on Wednesday, stating that the beach will now operate from 08:00 to 01:00, instead of the previous closing time of 21:00. This extension is being implemented as a demonstration of the company's commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to ensuring the well-being and protection of individuals of all ages.
