Maria Sharapova Gives a Glimpse of Her Greek Vacation: Quality Time with Fiance and Son

Former five-time Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova recently took to Instagram to share delightful moments from her vacation in Greece. Joined by her fiance Alexander Gilkes and their son Theodore, the 36-year-old tennis star enjoyed the Greek sea, cuisine, reading, and, most importantly, cherished quality time with her loved ones.

Through her profile with 4.5 million followers, the former top athlete posted a video in which she recorded the green waters of a sea.

It is not the first time that Maria Sharapova has come to Greece. In October 2022, with a series of photos and videos on Instagram, the Russian tennis player captured the Greek landscape and shared the last moments of her vacation with her social media followers.

"Catching the last summer rays in 🇬🇷 The last image …always on duty even inside the caves and a low battery 😆,"she had pointed out in the caption of her post.

Last year, in July 2022, Maria Sharapova and her fiance, Alexander Gilkes, joyfully announced the arrival of their first child, Theodore. Becoming a mother was a long-cherished dream for Sharapova, and she openly shared her excitement about raising her own child and passing on her experiences as an only child with a close bond to her mother.

Since welcoming her son, Sharapova has embraced the journey of motherhood, acknowledging that it comes with constant learning and challenges. Admitting that every day brings something new to learn about her son and herself, she finds the process incredibly beautiful yet demanding.

After retiring from professional tennis in 2020, Maria Sharapova has focused on her family and business ventures, enjoying precious moments with her fiance and son during their vacation in Greece.
