Thanasis Antetokounmpo Celebrates Birthday in Mykonos

Mykonos maintains its unrivaled status as the ultimate summer destination for celebrities, and the latest arrival only solidifies its reputation. Giannis Antetokounmpo, the superstar of the Milwaukee Bucks and the Greek national team, has chosen to retreat to the enchanting "Island of the Winds" once again this year.

During an evening outing in Matogiannis, Mykonos Live TV spotted Giannis accompanied by a group of friends, including his brothers Thanasis, Kostas, and Alex. The presence of the "Greek Freak" was met with a thunderous applause as soon as he was recognized, with bodyguards ensuring his security.

Coincidentally, Thanasis is also celebrating his 31st birthday on the island. Yesterday, they were seen enjoying the crystal-clear waters of Nammos for a refreshing swim, followed by a visit to Queen, Mykonos's hottest nightspot.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo, the older brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo, is a Greek professional basketball player currently also represents the Milwaukee Bucks.

His journey in the sport paved the way for his younger brother's success. Despite being born to Nigerian parents, Thanasis wholeheartedly identifies as Greek, evident in his decision to represent Greece instead of Nigeria in international competitions.

While inheriting athleticism from his father, Thanasis owes his impressive jumping skills to his mother. Notably, he was recognized in 2014 as a member of the NBA D-League All-Defensive Third Team, followed by a spot on the NBA D-League All-Defensive Second Team the following year. Although Giannis is known as "The Greek Freak," Thanasis occasionally goes by the moniker "Greek Freak 2" and also carries the nickname "The Greek Streak."

In addition to his basketball career, Thanasis hosts the "Thanalysis" podcast, where he offers insights and perspectives beyond the court. Known for his perpetual smile and unwavering support for his teammates, he has become an invaluable confidante and sounding board for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Lastly, a heartfelt "Happy Birthday" to Thanasis as he celebrates another year of life on the beautiful island of Mykonos.

He was born on the18 July 1992 and is 31 years old
