Crete claims one of the best nudist beaches in Greece

If tan lines are a nuisance, as any random blotch of untanned skin and artificial remedies are not your thing, you might be one of those game enough to head for one of Greece’s nudist beaches: A guaranteed method for that tanning consistency.

According to Sky Travel, Kokkini Ammos near Matala in Crete has been nominated as one of the best nudist beaches in the world.

Greece’s most famous nudist beach is Super Paradise on the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos, but if you want to go “au naturel” in less-known spots, we are happy to provide you with a list of some of the best:

• Mikri Banana -Skiathos;
• Velanio - Skopelos;
• Kipoi Afiarti -  Karpathos;

Others include Ramounta beach, some 65km away from Athens towards Grammatiko, offering a far-off island's exclusivity. Mavro Lithari beach between the seaside resort towns of Saronida and Anavyssos, and the pebble stone beach on the left of Cape Sounio under the imposing Temple of Poseidon.
