Hotel prices fell in August compared to the previous month in popular cities in Europe, according to Trivago's analysis of relevant data. On the other hand, if the comparison is made with August 2022, the prices in most cities this year are at higher levels.
The hotels of Athens follow the same trend. In particular, the average online price per night in a double room in the capital's hotel units for August reaches €170, from €176 last June and €140 in August 2022.

In Amsterdam, the average price is €265 in August against €272 last July; in Barcelona €231 against €251; in Berlin, €158 against €176; in Brussels, €167 against €194; in Dublin €251 against €255, in Istanbul €127 vs €134, Lisbon €225 vs €224, London €255 vs € 303, Madrid €136 vs €168, Paris €212 vs €277, Rome €212 vs €254, Vienna €168 against €177, at Warsaw €119 against €121 and Zurich €293 against €295.
