Mykonos: 15 arrested for drug possession at a villa party

There is no end to parties with loud music, visual effects, and plenty of alcohol and drugs in the villas of Mykonos. In another operation by the local Police Sub-Directorate, nine foreigners and six Greeks were arrested on Monday, and narcotic substances of various kinds were seized.

Police said that the organised party, held at a luxury residence on the island, was attended by many guests who arrived at the seaside villa by road or private boats.

A surprise search was conducted, and the specially trained dog that searched the villa uncovered 41.7 grams of cocaine, 28.3 grams of the drug 2CB, 9.5 grams of methamphetamine, 6.6 grams of cannabis and 5.5 ecstasy pills.

Officers seized the drugs and arrested the seven party organisers and eight customers.

All were taken to the Syros District Court, with the first being accused of violating health regulations and the operating conditions of food and beverage businesses and disturbing the public peace. Second, she was being charged with drug possession.
