Meet Your Grace Yoga Retreat 16 – 23 June, 2024
Your yoga host: Erin Widman from The Yoga Experience
Skopelos is a Greek island that is a true gem of the Aegean Sea. It is a place of stunning natural beauty, with lush green forests, crystal-clear waters, and picturesque beaches. The island is a perfect destination for those seeking a peaceful and authentic Greek island experience.
During this retreat, guests will stay seven nights in a comfortable 4-star resort with breathtaking views from as little as $400 with early bird pricing available till Feb 17, 2024. Practise daily yoga overlooking the Aegean Sea, roam the island's narrow streets, explore the whitewashed houses, and traditional tavernas, and immerse yourself in the local culture – what’s not to love?! The group will take time out to relax at the local beaches and those wanting to experience island life to the fullest, will spend a day on the water aboard a sailing boat. Skopelos is well-known for its divine cuisine; each night, guests will recharge with a slow-paced Greek style of dining and living.
This retreat is suitable for all ages and levels of practitioners with single, twin and triple rooms available.
Erin Widman has been teacher and owner of The Yoga Experience, a yoga studio in Flagstaff, Arizona, that has offered top quality yoga instruction for over 25 years.
Through the systems of Iyengar, Ashtanga and Anusara Yoga, Erin has learned the necessity of proper alignment, the delights of a flowing sequence, and the potency of our heart’s intention. In her classes, she blends these three aspects of yoga while speaking directly from her experience of over 25 years of personal practice. Expect powerful sequences, deep internal impact, and life-inspired personal contemplations that catapult you into the power of possibility.
For Erin, yoga is a way of life; it is an avenue for self-discovery and the impetus to live a good, sustainable life. The brilliance and philosophy of yoga transformed and inspired her view of all that a good life entails. She brings an enchantment with the metaphor of poetry and her desire for a good life into her teaching. She encourages students to enhance their physical awareness, strength, and health while discovering their own needs, intent and creative expression.
She has been teaching since 2000 and is the author of Sleeping Bag Yoga: For Hikers, Bikers, and Paddlers.
