According to ERT, the seven Romanian fans arrested yesterday in Promachonas were sentenced to one year in prison with a three-year suspension and a fine of 1,000 euros each. The men appealed and, during their testimony, claimed they came to vacation in Thessaloniki before one of their weddings.

As for the knife, they said it was for cutting the food they bought during their trip. They admitted that they are fans of the Romanian team Petrolul and that many fans of that team maintain relationships with fans of other groups in Europe.
