Rafa Nadal has once again graced our shores. Following his visit to Halkidiki, where he inaugurated the sole Rafa Nadal Tennis Center in Europe, the celebrated tennis maestro is relishing a leisurely Greek holiday.
The holder of an impressive 22 Grand Slam titles sails aboard his opulent yacht, named 'Beethoven,' a vessel he acquired in 2016, paying homage to his passion for classical music. The value of this exquisite yacht is estimated at around 2.5 million euros, offering accommodation for up to 10 individuals.
His journey commenced on the island of Corfu, later making stops at Meganisi and Ithaca. Spotting him strolling through Vathi, the island's heart, and observing him shopping at a local supermarket added an air of familiarity to his presence.
After navigating the Ionian waters and the Isthmus of Corinth, the legendary tennis player finds himself in Poros. Just recently, on Sunday (August 13th), he enjoyed a midday meal at a prominent beachside restaurant alongside members of the Poros Tennis Club.
In response, the Club shared on Facebook: "Today, a Legend graced our island. A beacon of ethics both on and off the court. An Athlete who stands as a symbol of tenacity. The Man & Athlete who cultivates a realm of 'sworn' friends, shunning any 'enemies.' A competitor who greets each victory and defeat with the same respect towards his adversaries. Truly extraordinary! His presence on our island is an immense honor."
