Ukraine's president Zelensky says he and Netherlands PM Mark Rutte agreed on the transfer of 42 F-16s to Ukraine once training is complete.
Prime Minister Rutte announced that the Netherlands still has 42 aircraft. "We need a number of them to help with the training in Denmark and soon also in Romania. We're going to see if we can supply the rest of the jets, but we don't yet know exactly how many we can deliver."
It is also unclear when that delivery will take place. In addition to the training of pilots, other things must also be taken into account. For example, the infrastructure in Ukraine must be in order before the F-16s can operate there, Rutte said.
