The Greek Barbie: Is Ioanna Maleskou the doppelganger of Margot Robbie?

Barbie is perhaps the film year, indicated by the fact that it has grossed well over $1 billion and received positive reviews from audiences and critics alike. Margot Robbie, who plays the lead role, was absolutely stunning with her striking beauty and talent.

As Proto Thema highlighted though, some found that the famous star resembles the Greek TV persona Ioanna Maleskou, which did not escape the attention of the presenter, who did not hesitate to comment on it.

The presenter made her own humorous comment about her resemblance to the Australian actress in a post.

In a photo collage she posted, featuring her and Robbie, Ioanna wrote humorously in Spanish in the caption of the post: “The usurper”.

After the massive success of the movie Barbie and after completing her obligations in the context of her promotion campaign, Margot Robbie has been holidaying in Greece, visiting FolegandrosAthens and now Sifnos.

The Aussie star put aside her professional duties for a while and chose to wear a cream one-piece swimsuit with a plunging underarm, open back and high crotch for her recent trip to the sea.

For accessories, she chose a gold chain with a pantie and white pool slippers, while she looked at a colourful touch with an orange beach bag.

Robbie is in Greece with her husband, Tom Ackerley, and this is the first time they've been seen together this summer since the red carpet for the film Barbie - which Ackerley also co-produced.

The couple have been married since 2016 and are very much in love, as evidenced by the hot kisses they exchanged in the sea.

Robbie - who was reportedly paid $50 million for her role in the recently released movie - was photographed putting on a very affectionate display with her producer husband, Tom Ackerley, during a much-deserved break in exclusive images obtained by DailyMail.com.

It's unclear where the couple made their journey from. But travelers can take a public ferry from Athens to Sifnos for about $70, a trip that takes about two hours and a half.

Robbie's European vacation comes after she is reportedly set to make $50 million in salary and bonuses from Barbie that saw her play the titular character in the Greta Gerwig-directed project.

She will taking home the whopping pay check, having also produced the film through her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, Variety reported earlier this month, citing three individuals with knowledge of her deal.

LuckyChap - which Robbie founded in 2014 with Ackerley, and friends Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr - has also produced Promising Young Woman, Birds Of Prey and series Maid.

Gerwig is also likely to receive bonuses due to the incredible success of Barbie.

The filmmaker made history, flying past more than $1 billion in worldwide box office gross, becoming the first movie directed solely by a woman to do so.
