Rhodes: Young woman raped by her father-in-law

A 33-year-old woman reported to the Archangelos Police Department in Rhodes that her husband's father has been forcing her to perform sexual acts with him using violence and taking advantage of her fear that he will report her to Welfare and lose her children.

She claimed that when she dared to denounce his actions against him, he, with the help of others, made false accusations against her, resulting in her being deprived of her children, Dimokratiki reported. The woman described acts of rape against her and claimed that the first one occurred in 2017.

However, her 30-year-old husband initially stressed that he could not believe his father did this to his wife and thought it was a misunderstanding. A friend of his, the son claimed, even alerted him that his father had posted live videos on social media where he touches his wife's chest and molests her.

The 33-year-old had initially denounced her father-in-law in May 2022, describing then that in September 2013, he fondled her leg and, since then, constantly harassed her with sexual insinuations.

In another statement, she claimed he beat her on the chest and behind while simultaneously filming the act with his mobile phone.

In May 2022, in another of her allegations, she said that she found him in a room with his pants and underwear down and that he forced her into a sexual act. She has given police a hard drive, which, according to her claims, contains video footage of her father-in-law assaulting her.
