CORFU: Police rule out murder on death of 22-year-old British woman

New details are coming to light about the death of a 22-year-old British tourist in ​​Kavos, Corfu. Police sources cited by the Kerkyra Simera state that criminal activity has been ruled out.

As it was established, the young woman suffered a blow to the head due to her fall. The girl then began to bleed, and she remained unconscious for hours until Friday morning when she was found, and the authorities were notified.

The police are looking for the group of friends the young tourist travelled with to learn more about her last moments.

Her lifeless body was found on a side street early Friday morning near a bar in Kavos in southern Corfu.

The area was cordoned off by the Security officers who carried out an on-site investigation. At the same time, the medical examiner arrived at the scene and examined the body of the woman.

Police also examined footage from local store cameras.
