Several parents of students of the 2nd primary school of Corinth reacted and complained about the maintenance and painting of the building facilities, designed in the colours of the rainbow flag, which is not the same as the six-lined LGBTI+ flag.
By August 11, when the school's renovation was reportedly completed, the balconies had been painted yellow for the ground floor and orange for the first floor. Afterwards, however, the terraces were repainted red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, blue and purple, as seen on a Facebook post.
The parents' reactions were not limited to posts on social media as they also sent letters addressed to the municipality, the Directorate of Primary Education of N. Corinthia, the Holy Metropolis, the school's management and the parents' association.
