"New era with Greece": What the Turkish media are writing about the Gerapetritis-Fidan meeting

All the Turkish media thoroughly presented the statements of the Greek and Turkish foreign ministers at the joint press conference, speaking in particular of a "new and positive period" between the two countries.

The Turkish media positively evaluates Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis's meeting on Tuesday in Ankara with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan. The Turkish press presents the statements of the two foreign ministers, particularly those of a "new and positive period" between the two countries.

"For a new era with Greece," says the Yeni Şafak newspaper, underlining Fidan's statement, "We have entered a new and positive period in our relations with Greece."

"After the meeting with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Ankara, Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis said: ''We agreed to continue the positive agenda''," comments the Haber3.

"Joint press conference of Hakan Fidan and George Gerapetritis: We support the accession of Turkey to the EU," is the title of a publication of TRT Haber, projecting the positive climate in the bilateral meeting.

"Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with his Greek counterpart," writes Sabah, showing the statements of Fidan, Gerapetritis during a press conference.

Hürriyet writes about "A new era with Greece", which speaks of a "new and positive period" between the two countries".
