FourFourTwo has uploaded an article about the top soccer club emblems worldwide and in the sport's history. Olympiacos is on the list and took up 68th position, staying above great clubs such as Real Madrid, Porto, Tottenham, and River Plate.
"Olympiacos were formed from two clubs and given a name that reflects the Ancient Olympic Games - how very Greek. Of course, a laurel-crowned chap had to appear on the front. Red and white were chosen for passion and purity respectively," wrote the magazine about the Piraeus club.
On the other hand, the German Munich 1860 took 1st place. No other Greek team except Olympiacos is on the list.
The top ten are completed by Aberdeen (Scotland), Milan (Italy), Ajax (Netherlands), Al Ahli (Egypt), Arsenal 1936-1949 (England), Bari 2011-2013 (Italy), Roma (Italy), Atalanta (Italy) ) and Atlanta United (USA).
In the top 20 are clubs such as Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Boca Juniors. In 100th place is Zenit St. Petersburg. (See the list here)
