Mitsotakis’ New York meeting with Erdogan scheduled for September 20

Greek Premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on September 20 on the sidelines of the 78th UN General Assembly in New York, government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis said on Thursday.

He will also meet with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres on September 21.

Mitsotakis will depart on the afternoon of September 19.

The two leaders were originally scheduled to meet on September 18 but the talks were rescheduled in the wake of last week’s devastating floods in central Greece.
