Romanian Tourist Apprehended for Marble Theft at the Acropolis

A 36-year-old Romanian woman who visited the archaeological site on Tuesday morning decided to take home her marbles from the Acropolis site.

According to Proto Thema, the tourist was impressed by the Acropolis area and took two marbles home as a "souvenir".

However, a 42-year-old woman who was also at the scene noticed it during the act.

Thus, after a few minutes, the 36-year-old was spotted by police officers of the Sub-Directorate of Patrols and arrested for a distinguished case of theft.
