Athens-Lianokladi train, bus extension to Thessaloniki resume operations on Friday

Train services running roundtrip from Athens to Lianokladi, west of Lamia, and the roundtrip coach service covering the Lianokladi-Larissa-Thessaloniki segment are resuming operations on Friday, Hellenic Train announced on Thursday.

The Lianokladi-Thessaloniki roundtrip segment will continue to be serviced by bus due to damage on the railway network after the recent storm 'Daniel', noted the railways operator.

Due to the fact that train schedules from and to Thessaloniki have been modified because of the trains-to-coaches temporary system, passengers are advised to consult Hellenic Train's online ticket booking platform at https://tickets.hellenictrain.gr/dromologia
