The well-known criminologist Alexis Kougias was invited to comment on the current political situation, and his criticism focused on the succession race in SYRIZA, especially on Stefanos Kasselakis.
“What does this man want now?” asked Alexis Kougias, talking about Stefanos Kasselakis and added: “He criticised Mitsotakis for not opposing Erdogan directly…. 40-year-old man, and he doesn’t know anything! He has his fiance over there, and he’s also dealing with the dog!”.

In his statements to Ant1, Alexis Kougias expressed his desire to see “a government with Kasselakis as prime minister, Lakis Gavalas as minister of justice and Koklonis in place of Nikos Pappas”!
“I see all this mess that has poisoned our lives every day and the Mass Media projects that, and that objectively have no value as human beings”, continued the well-known criminologist.
Even during today’s trial of Roulas Pispirigou, Alexis Kougias addressed the president of the court, saying, “Now Kasselakis will come to… knock your teeth out,” commenting on earlier statements of the SYRIZA presidential candidate, for which he expressed surprise at how it is possible that the competent prosecutor has not been involved.
“I am sure that this bubble will burst very quickly,” stressed Alexis Kougias, and he also referred to the adoption of children by same-sex couples, pointing out that “the law expressly prohibits the adoption of children by homosexuals.”
