Trikala Ravaged by Storm Elias: Roads Turn Into Rivers, Drivers Trapped

Storm Elias hits Trikala hard. The roads in the city center have turned into rivers, trapping drivers and forcing them to seek escape routes.

Trikala is once again heavily affected by strong rainfall and storms, as they are still recovering from the passage of storm Daniel.

At this hour, storm Elias is showing its teeth in the region, with the roads turning into rivers once again.

The road in the Barra area is one of the first ones to flood, with water covering everything. Similar problems are observed in the Gardikaki area, according to trikalanews.

In the city center, Kalamata Street, from the height of "Sklavenitis" and below, has turned into a lake for the third time in four months. Drivers are trapped, seeking escape routes.
