Erdoğan angered by US presence in the Middle East: "What business do you have, have you lost your foresight?"

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed anger at Washington's open support for Israel after Hamas launched a brutal attack on October 7.

“You send an aircraft carrier… What are you going to do? What are you doing to prevent humanitarian aid from going to the area? Today in Gaza, we have no water, electricity, or food... Where is the West?" he said, speaking to the youth of the ruling AKP party.

As reported by SKAI, he said: "Now they say that the USA is sending an aircraft carrier. He says a second aircraft carrier will come. But look where America and the Mediterranean are, Israel and Palestine. What business do you have there?"

In the meantime, the Turkish president did not fail to deal once again with the downing of a Turkish drone by a US fighter over Syrian territory.

"America shot down one of our drones in Syria. Have they lost their foresight? How do you shoot down our aircraft? They say, 'we don't know, we haven't seen.'... But how do they say that?'' noted the Turkish president.

At the same time, AKP youth members chanted, "Jerusalem is ours and will remain ours."

Meanwhile, Israel ordered for almost half of Gaza’s 2.3 million people to evacuate to the south of the blockaded enclave before an expected ground offensive aiming at eradicating the Hamas terrorist group after its brutal attack and the seizure of dozens of hostages.

The evacuation notice was issued in the early hours of Friday and panicked civilians and the aid workers already struggling under intense Israeli airstrikes. The UN considers the tightened siege a war crime after electricity and water was cut.

“This evacuation is for your own safety,” the Israeli military said, in a warning it said was sent to civilians.

An Israel Defence Forces (IDF) spokesperson admitted in a briefing on Friday morning that it would take time for Palestinians to follow its orders to evacuate, but did not confirm a UN report that it had set a 24-hour deadline, The Guardian reported.
