Greek Prime Minister Urges Accountability for Hamas and Calls for a New Peace Process at Cairo Summit

Greece’s Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mistotakis at the Cairo Summit for Peace:
“Let’s be honest! Hamas is a terrorist organization that is inflicting unspeakable suffering both to Israelis and also Palestinians.

They should be held accountable. Hamas is not the Palestinian people and we should not confuse the two. The Palestinian people do not deserve this…”

Greek Prime Minister also called for the launching of a new peace process that would envision an independent state of Palestine alongside the state of Israel. “No military intervention can replace a viable political solution,” Mitsotakis said.
