Zoi Asoumanaki: The Cretan among the 15 most beautiful women in the world

Zoi Asoumanaki was among the 15 most beautiful women in the world at the "Miss International" competition in Tokyo, Japan.

The brunette, who won the "Miss Crete" title in 2021, won a place among the top 15, while she was the first European to be in it.

The competition mainly aims to promote the diversity of cultures while urging the candidates to showcase the characteristics of their culture.

Zoi appeared on stage in the traditional Sfakian costume, thus representing her homeland. Their skirt and vest were hand-embroidered by designer Eva Vamvouka.

This years edition was the 61st pageant of this kind held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on 26 October 2023. Jasmin Selberg of Germany crowned Andrea Rubio of Venezuela as her successor at the end of the event.

  • Soujitsu Kobori — Head of Kobori Enshu school of tea
  • Supapan Pichaironarongsongkram — Chairwoman of Chao Phraya Express Boat

Along with Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth, the pageant is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants
