Turkey Rejects Inspection Request for MV Kosovak in Libyan Arms Embargo Effort

Turkey has once again denied consent for inspecting the vessel MV Kosovak. This denial comes as part of Turkey's continued stance against foreign inspections in the region, raising concerns about potential arms shipments to Libya.

Despite international calls for cooperation and adherence to the arms embargo in Libya, Turkey has maintained its refusal to grant flag state consent for the inspection of the MV Kosovak. The vessel has been under scrutiny due to suspicions of carrying unauthorized cargo to Libya, a situation that directly contradicts the aims of UNSC Resolution 2292.
