On Wednesday, the coast guard discovered twenty-six male migrants who had disembarked on the beach of Trypiti on the island of Gavdos, located south of Crete.

The coast guard subsequently transported them by boat from the port of Gavdos to the port of Hora Sfakion. From there, they were taken to a reception area owned by the Municipality of Chania.
