Search and rescue operation underway in eastern Aegean after dinghy carrying migrants capsizes, 18 rescued

The two women who were missing after the sinking of a boat carrying migrants southeast of Agathonissi were located by the Coast Guard early on Friday.

According to an announcement, one of the women is in good health while the other was found in the sea unconscious. A total of 18 people have been found and rescued so far and will be transferred to Samos.
