The Political Council of PASOK-Movement for Change met on Saturday at the party offices ahead of tomorrow's meeting of the Central Political Committee, which will begin with a speech by its leader, Nikos Androulakis.
"We have a duty to serve the new cycle opening for our party with a high index of reliability and consistency. Our values, ideas and positions will constitute a strong force against ruling New Democracy, releasing social forces that will rally around our effort to have a strong governmental alternative in the country."
Androulakis stressed that it is necessary "to prove every day that we are the most useful party for the country. We are not fighting a power battle, but a political battle".
He also pointed out that the government is inactive in the face of the inflation of greed, which puts pressure on the incomes of the citizens.
