Tourism Revenues in Greece Soar to Record Levels

According to data from the Bank of Greece, tourism revenues in Greece are on track to reach a record high this year. The data shows that from January to September, the country earned 17.91 billion euros from its main industry.

This is not only a significant increase from last year's earnings of 15.5 billion euros, but also surpasses the revenues of the record-breaking year 2019, which amounted to 16.1 billion euros in the same period.

This indicates a year-on-year increase of 11.3%. September played a crucial role in driving these results, with earnings of 3.2 billion euros, representing a 12.8% increase compared to September 2019.
