Minion: The historic building was illuminated - What do the 3 colors symbolise?

The works for the new Minion have entered the final stretch, which is expected to reopen its gates in 2024 on its informal birthday, as next year it will be 90 years since its construction.

The Minion building at the corner of Patisia and Doros Avenues was lit up on Tuesday night, and the comments on Twitter were a mix of admiration and nostalgia.

The lights that bathed the building were three: the historic orange of the iconic department store of the past decades, the olive green and the white of Veranzerou Street.

Proto Thema has written that the new Minion will have apartments, offices, shops, dining and entertainment areas.

Regarding the houses, the Dimand company has secured a building permit, according to which one of the properties of the "Mignon" complex, with an area of 4,500 sq.m., will be used to create 30-40 apartments. They will be of high standards, ranging from 60 to 125 sq.m., furnished.

The residences will be located in the completely reconstructed and autonomous - of course, bioclimatic - building at Satovriandou and Doros on all floors and will be of high-quality standards. “Ideal for tourist use”, one might think.

The complex will also develop 6,500 sq.m. offices, 6,500 sq.m. shops, but also 1,000 sq.m. catering and entertainment venues, i.e. restaurants, cafes, bars, etc.

Already, among those interested and those who have closed, there are large supermarket chains and some of the biggest names in retail, while the highest floors will contain office spaces.
