2024 Conference League final will be held at AEK's OPAP Arena

And with UEFA's approval, OPAP Arena will host the Europa Conference League final in May 2024...

UEFA's Executive Committee has confirmed its decision to host this season's Conference League final at AEK Athens, which is expected to be officially announced by the European Football Federation.

Now everything has been approved by UEFA, which will continue to have an even stronger presence at the OPAP Arena in the coming months, given the final on May 29.

The beauty of the story is that PAOK has already qualified for the "16" of the tournament. At the same time, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and AEK were excluded from the Europa League and have significant hopes of continuing in 2024 in the Conference.

Their fate will be decided on the last matchday (14/12). Olympiacos plays at home against Topola, AEK away against Ajax and Panathinaikos at home against Maccabi. The three Greek teams need a point each to pass.

The Conference League is the 3rd inter-league UEFA competition, which started in 2021. In the 2021-22 season, the final was hosted in Tirana, with Roma beating Feyenoord 1-0.

The 2022-23 season was hosted in Prague, with West Ham beating Fiorentina 2-1 and taking the cup.
