As Proto Thema reported, in the end, the 40-year-old Chinese man did not push the woman from the balcony of an apartment in the Neos Kosmos neighbourhood, but she did this to escape from the torture he inflicted on her.
As emerged from the police investigation, everything happened on Saturday (2/12), at approximately 11:30 in the morning, when the perpetrator started cursing his 35-year-old partner and issuing death threats.
The woman tried to calm him down, but he then punched her in the head, took a knife and immobilised her by tying her hands and feet after threatening her with a knife.
The attacker then raped her, grabbed a pair of scissors, and demanded money from her. Then, the woman was forced from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. to make money transfers through her mobile phone, transferring 100,000 Chinese yuan (about 13,000 euros) to the perpetrator's account.
Then, the 35-year-old managed to free herself with a sharp object and escaped through the window by jumping from the third floor to the first balcony. She was then helped by a neighbour who called the ambulance service.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where her nightmare ended.
The 40-year-old is wanted.
