Calling all young Greek and Greek-at-heart creatives in Australia

The 1st Greek Youth Creative Arts Competition is here!

This exciting new project from the Greek Festival of Sydney seeks to empower and showcase your art, writing, and music talent.

Here's what you need to know:

Who can participate?

• Greek and Greek-at-heart youth in NSW
• Aged 12-24 years old (divided into three groups: 12-15, 16-18, 19-24)

Theme: "Greece within me"

Categories:

• Art: Submit a photo of your artwork in any medium (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital art, collage, graffiti, 3D modelling)
• Writing: Submit a piece of writing in Greek or English (max 1000 words) in any format (short story, fan fiction, poetry, review, theatrical piece)
• Music: Submit an MP4 video (max 3 minutes) of an original music work (song, instrumental, acapella) in any style (solo, band, duet/group, instrumental, DJ)

Deadline: Submit your applications by March 15, 2024

Prizes:

• Winners in each category receive substantial monetary awards
• All participants get their work showcased (gallery exhibition for art, booklet distribution for writing, social media coverage for music)
• Special award ceremony on April 28, 2024
