Accreditation Pass of Nottingham Forest Owner Marinakis Found Discarded After Crushing Defeat

The alleged accreditation pass worn by Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis at Craven Cottage was reportedly discovered in a bush outside Fulham's ground.

Following a resounding 5-0 defeat to Fulham on Wednesday, featuring braces from Alex Iwobi and Raul Jimenez, along with a goal from Tom Cairney, Forest manager Steve Cooper faced increasing scrutiny with a fourth consecutive loss, leaving his team just six points above the relegation zone.

In the aftermath of the defeat, a Fulham supporter claimed on social media to have found what appeared to be Marinakis' official lanyard from the match discarded in a bush near Craven Cottage. The post on X, formerly Twitter, stated: "Found this thrown on a bush in someone’s front garden just outside Craven Cottage… someone clearly left in a strop…"

Marinakis - who also owns Olympiacos - was in attendance to watch his side's dismal display before leaving the match early.

Mail Sport has contacted Nottingham Forest for comment regarding the social media post.

It has been a tough month for the 56-year-old, with Olympiacos crashing out of the Europa League group stage while they also lie fourth in the Greek Superleague.
