Greek Port Authorities rescued 27 migrants south of Greeceās southernmost island, Gavdos, on Thursday.
The migrants were adrift on a boat from which they sent a signal for help. Authorities transferred them to Sfakia, on southern Crete, for registration and first aid.
According to AMNA, they are all men who may be transferred to the facilities of the Kalathas summer camp in Chania, NW Crete.
Gavdos and its sea region have served as a gateway to Greece on multiple occasions recently.
