Arrest Made in Nea Ionia as Pakistani Man Found Holding Knife

On the night of December 14, 2023, an alarming incident occurred in Nea Ionia when a Pakistani man was spotted wandering the streets while shouting "Allahu Akbar."

In response, local authorities swiftly intervened, apprehending the individual and subsequently transferring him to the appropriate area police station for further investigation.

During the arrest, law enforcement discovered a 21cm knife in the possession of the detainee, resulting in charges being filed against him for violating the Arms Act and carrying a weapon.
