The Trade Association of Athens has proposed the schedule and opening hours of stores in the Greek capital during the Christmas holidays of 2023.
Starting on December 12, the association proposes that stores stay open from 09:00 until 21:00 on weekdays and from 09:00 until 18:00 on Saturdays.
Shops will also be open on Sundays on December 17, 24, and 31, from 11:00 until 18:00.
Shops will remain closed on December 25-26 (Christmas Day and Boxing Day) and on January 1 and 2, 2024.
Most likely, shops will also be closed on Saturday, January 6, 2024, when Greeks celebrate Epiphany Day.
