A shark has reportedly attacked a person at a popular tourist location on the Yorke Peninsula. At 1.30 pm, SA Police received reports of a shark attack near Ethel Beach near Innes National Park.
SA Police said it received a report of a shark attack near Ethel Beach at 1:30 pm.
Ethel Beach is located at Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park on the south-western tip of the peninsula.
The site is named after the wreck of the Ethel, a Norwegian ship that washed ashore in 1904.
"Initial information from the scene reported one person has been seriously injured," police said in a statement.
The shark attack is the latest of several in South Australian waters in recent months.
