BREAKING: Japan Airlines plane with 367 people on board collides with Coast Guard plane at Tokyo Airport

The aircraft involved is an Airbus A350-941 with registration number JA13XJ and serial number 538. First flight of the aircraft was in September 2021.

The aircraft was flying from Sapporo New Chitose Airport to Tokyo Haneda International Airport as flight #JL516
It took of from Sapporo at 16:27 local time. It landed at Haneda at 17:47 local time and caught fire directly on touch down.

5 crew members of Japanese Coast Guard plane are unaccounted for after collision with A350 aircraft at Tokyo airport but the captain has survived.

A Japan Airlines spokesperson said the plane's 367 crew and passengers have evacuated.

A Haneda Airport spokesperson said all runways at the airport are currently closed.
